Our Story

Meet the Pitmaster.
Kenyon Railey.

Kenyon Railey's passion for barbecue runs deep. It started with his grandfathers, who passed down a skill that would shape the rest of his life. What began as family tradition became a calling — one that eventually led him to Texas, where he set out to expand his craft and push it further than he ever thought possible.

Today, Kenyon splits his own logs, tends his own fire, and smokes every cut with the same care and intention his grandfathers taught him. For him, there is nothing better than watching someone take that first bite and light up — that moment is what makes every hour at the pit worth it.

H&B BBQ is built on heritage, fire, and an obsession with doing things the right way. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just real Texas barbecue.

Never. Our meats are seasoned with Kosher salt and 16-mesh black pepper only — nothing more. The smoke does the work. Our H&B BBQ sauce is available on the side if you want it, but the meat speaks for itself.
